Containment was established in the kitchen, cabinets were covered with plastic for protection, quarter round was removed from cabinets, flooring and underlayment were removed, the sink was removed, nails holding the countertop to cabinets were cut and removed, two cabinets were removed, affected plaster and drywall behind cabinets were removed, all affected areas were sprayed with an antimicrobial solution, and drying equipment was set.
