The severe moisture intrusion caused immediate deterioration to building materials, requiring the urgent professional removal of wet drywall, wooden paneling, insulation, trim, and flooring to prevent further structural issues.

We performed comprehensive mitigation and targeted demolition, carefully removing all deteriorated materials, including carpet, drywall, and vapor barriers. In the kitchen, we removed the water-damaged base cabinet bottom while temporarily supporting the connected sink to preserve salvageable hardware. We completed a Docusketch scan for precise site documentation, applied a professional antimicrobial treatment to all exposed structural components, installed an Injectidry system in the kitchen, and deployed commercial air movers and dehumidifiers to initiate rapid structural drying prior to the requested basement reconstruction.
