The property sustained significant water damage affecting the flooring, base trim, drywall, wood paneling, and insulation. Discoloration was identified behind the paneling, and a five-foot section of wet drywall along with discolored Styrofoam insulation were found that needed to be removed from the laundry room.

The restoration team established containment and protected contents using plastic sheeting. They extracted water from the affected flooring, removed approximately 75 linear feet of base trim, and demolished damaged wood paneling and drywall. A five-foot section of wet drywall and discolored Styrofoam insulation were removed from the laundry room. All affected areas were thoroughly cleaned by vacuuming and sweeping debris, followed by the application of an antimicrobial treatment. Drying equipment, including air movers and dehumidifiers, was strategically placed and repositioned, with moisture and atmospheric readings taken throughout the process. Most areas reached dry standards, with an air mover left to complete drying a 12-inch section of sill plate in the spare room. Remaining equipment was removed once all areas met dry standards. Dehumidifier collection containers were emptied as needed, and the drying progress was fully documented with readings, photos, and walkout documentation.
