A significant water loss occurred due to a cracked toilet tank that continuously leaked for 4–5 days, severely affecting the half bathroom, laundry room, basement, kitchen, garage, and adjacent structural components. Initial assessments revealed standing water and extensive moisture in drywall, hardwood flooring, subfloor, insulation, and framing.

Technicians promptly extracted standing water and performed controlled demolition to remove all affected drywall, insulation, and flooring. The exposed wall cavities and surfaces were then HEPA-vacuumed and treated with a plant-based antimicrobial solution. Kitchen contents were protected, and containments were installed to prevent further contamination. LGR dehumidifiers and air filtration devices were strategically placed throughout the affected areas to thoroughly dry the remaining moisture and address odors. Additional drying was scheduled as the subfloor and framing were still wet. The entire process was meticulously documented using Encircle and DocuSketch, including moisture and atmospheric readings, debris removal, and progress photographs.
