The property sustained significant water damage affecting the bathroom, laundry room, and hallway, with moisture impacting drywall, insulation, various flooring types, and other building materials. Initial readings indicated potential moisture extension behind the shower and bathtub walls, suggesting further remediation might be required.

Technicians began by thoroughly documenting the condition and taking atmospheric and moisture readings. Affected materials, including drywall, insulation, tack strips, carpet and pad, and multiple layers of laundry room flooring (vinyl plank, sheet vinyl, glue-down tile), were carefully removed. Laundry room and bathroom vanity components were detached, and unsalvageable materials were properly disposed of. Containment was established with an air scrubber to control airborne contaminants during demolition. Exposed areas were treated with antimicrobial agents, additional moisture points were set, and drying equipment was installed. Doors were reinstalled and work areas were sealed as needed, while the washer and dryer were returned to service. Subsequent moisture checks confirmed affected areas and wood sill plates had dried, allowing technicians to remove drying equipment and complete walk-out documentation.
